Wars have never solved any conflict. Wars have never brought lasting peace.

Wars have never failed to create more misery and suffering that we all have seen in close proximity and yet we have an ongoing humanitarian disaster today in Ukraine. We feel duty-bound to help the war torn Ukrainian and millions of affected people in Ukraine while we stand by them through our support in their time of need., upholding our rich and humanitarian values in India.

Global Changemakers Network and its humanitarian relief operations along the Ukrainian borders of Romania has continued and ongoing since the beginning of Russian invasion of Ukraine. Now, we are working with several city councils in Ukraine to go and coordinate / set up relief bases inside Ukraine to alleviate their suffering in the ongoing war. We pledge to do the right thing.

I, Sensei Raj, the founder and President of GCN, pledge my unshaking support and that of my team at GCN for solidarity & support to Ukraine. Further, I personally request businesses, foundations, entities, agencies to send relief materials in exchange for positive PR for standing up for humanity and peace.

Global Changemakers Network, an independent non-political, non-partisan humanitarian organization, has been coordinating relief efforts along the Ukraine border. We have been requested to set up Operational Hub in Romania by various agencies; we have partnered with people on the ground and NGOs in Romania & Ukraine to help the Ukrainians fleeing from war and suffering and to assist in the following:

1. Relief materials (food, clothing, emergency materials, et al), reestablish & sustain disrupted supply chain

2. Shelter for the refugees and other basic human needs

3. Supply of medical and childcare materials to NGOs along the Ukrainian border and in Romania

4. Organize, coordinate, assist and/or lead relief convoys.

5. Assist in finding safe places for children and ensure safety of children including track and trace.

Wars have never solved any conflict. Wars have never brought lasting peace.

Wars have never failed to create more misery and suffering that we all have seen in close proximity and yet we have a humanitarian disaster on our hands in Ukraine. We feel your pain and we stand with you in this darkest hour Ukraine

Changemakers Network, an independent non-political, non-partisan humanitarian organization, is setting up humanitarian relief camps along the border of Ukraine and has partnered with people on the ground, agencies and governments of Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia to help the Ukrainians fleeing from war and suffering and to assist in the following:

1. Relief materials (food, clothing, emergency materials, et al) are being organized in these hubs.
2. Shelter for the refugees and other needs to maintain a semblance of normal lives
3. Set up medical and childcare facilities along the Ukrainian border. (Medical professionals who want to volunteer are sought to reach out to us)
4. Organize, coordinate, assist, led if necessary in search and rescue of stranded in Ukraine (foreigners, students, children, in particular) and those who are fleeing Ukraine to find safe havens away from war.
5. Assist in repatriation of foreign and Ukrainian nationals (some Ukrainians do not have passport or valid travel documents)

At ChangeMakers Network, we extend our assistance to save lives, and to uphold human dignity while we pitch in to assist in the process of refugee management in all areas including and not limited to medical, childcare, job placements, retrain, integrate, logistics management so we can share some of the burden of the admirable people that are serving right now.

While we all aspire for we human beings to live in peace and harmony in coexistence,
we are witnessing yet another travesty on humanity and leaderships that thrive and fan conflicts and war, disregarding human dignity, nation’s sanctity and security while willingly writing off a nation’s people’s lives as collateral damage. All these for what ? Two cents of land ? Show of military supremacy ? Pushing the capitalistic greed that thrives on consumerism and cornering of global markets to offset their bankrupt treasuries and moralities ?

Makes us often ponder: are we truly the most intelligent and evolved specie on this planet ?

The recent war in Ukraine – the manifestation of one of such myriad irresponsible transgressions by supposedly mature world’s superpowers – holds the mirror to such atrocities in this day and era of collective consciousness. The very aspect of human intellect that is to guide us to responsible evolution has yet again has suffered a humiliating defeat by the buses that are being driven amok by the very superpowers who took a vow to end such atrocities at the end of the second world war in 1945.
Utter disregard to promises, callous and criminal indifference to the suffering and misery of people, women and children who have to flee the very land they were born in, the very land they grew up on, the very air they breathed every day with not a frown nor worry nor the knowledge of the looming disaster that were being fabricated for a decade and more in the distant horizon.

Do we have the right to rob the innocent children of their trust in their fellow human beings on the same planet as they grow up ? Aren’t they the true inheritors of this planet and we are merely borrowing from them while we destroy their very future in front of their own eyes ?

Is this acceptable ?Is this Right? Is this who we are?

What will do today to right these wrongs ?
What will do today to alleviate their pain and misery ?
What will do today to restore peace and safety ?
What will do today to restore faith in those young minds which are experiencing untold horrors ?

What will we do today to change our mindsets that we all share this planet which means that it is our responsibility – individually and collectively – to maintain peace and harmony on our planet ?

If someone suffers in our family in our homes isn’t it our responsibility to help them get better ? How different is the situation in Ukraine ?
Don’t we live in this home that we call Planet Earth together ?
Does it mean that we turn our eyes away in the hour of need of those who need our support and assistance
or
will we work together collaboratively and not worry about the manipulated stock markets and treasuries that print paper at will for which we all pay the price to make the lives of the few even better ?
Or
will we work collaboratively to increase the value and quality of lives on this planet ?

What happens in one part of the planet has repercussions on every other place on the planet. The sooner we realize this and behave accordingly, the better we are off and we all thrive.

Let us all join hands to redress the wrong. Let us start by helping Ukraine in their time of need. Are we going to be monsters while we merely watch on the screens about their sufferings or do we have the grace, the courage, and kindness that we can find within ourselves to do the right thing ?
